Our journey through life will bring us across all kinds of different energies. Some that will be beneficial to our growth and life path and others that we must learn to let go of willingly and sometimes, by force through love. When people, places or things have a strong emotional charge, it might require more than one session of practicing letting it go. Sometimes many, many times and that it okay.
When we release dense energy and clear out space in our energy field, we allow room for more positive energy to take its place. We clear out the old to make way for the new and stop letting our energy drain to people, places and things that might not be aware of or have no interest in reciprocating the energy they are depleting.
This is a powerful releasing ritual that will allow you to liberate yourself of depleting or stagnant energy, emotion, situations, energy chords or any people, places or things that you simply want removed from your life.
You will need:
- 1 White Candle
- 1 Piece of paper
- Pen
- Lighter/Match
- Sage
- Palo Santo
- Burning Bowl (this can be any bowl that is safe to place the burning piece of paper in)
The steps are as follows:
1- Sit in a comfortable position with your bowl, candle and piece of paper in front of you.
2- Light the sage and cleanse your space, and all your materials. Then light your Palo Santo and do the same.
3- Ground yourself. (reference Grounding Technique below or do your own grounding practice)
4- On your piece of paper write with as much detail that which you are releasing back into the universe. (the more detail the better)
5- Light the candle and then read the words you have written into the flame out loud. (if you cannot or do not feel comfortable to do it out loud that is okay. keep in mind out loud does not necessarily mean in a loud tone, softly spoken is okay too)
6- Burn the piece of paper with the flame and drop it into the burning bowl.
7- As the paper burns say these words "thank you for the journey, thank you for the lesson, thank you for the alchemy, I release you now, and make way for the new for my highest good".
8- When the paper has burned all the way light your sage and cleanse the burning bowl and all your materials. Then light your Palo Santo and do the same.
9- Allow the candle to burn out all the way. (if the flame goes out that is okay just light it up again)
Over the next few days/weeks you might experience quantum shifts or intense downloads coming through during the day or at night through your dreams. Journaling will help with integrating and moving through these energies mentally and spiritually.
Keep an open mind and heart to the signs and synchronicities that you will be experiencing.
I love you <3
Being grounded allows your consciousness to fully engage with the physical senses and the world around you. If you've experienced trauma or are under constant stress, overwhelm, angry or drained you might not feel safe being in your body so your unconscious (or sometimes conscious) response is to go outside of yourself and explore the dimensions around you as opposed to allowing yourself to be fully in your body experiencing the present moment.
This exercise was shown to me by a shaman and his partner in a crystal shop one day as I was shopping with a close friend. This was also the day I was made aware of my psychic abilities and other unexplainable things I had experienced throughout my life. I will expand more on those topics another time.
I recommend doing this in a place where you are not physically disturbed and ideally outside with your bare feet one the ground although this is not required.
The steps are as follows:
1- Go outside and plant your bare feet on the earth. You can also do this inside with your feet planted on the ground. Sitting or standing upright. (I live in an apartment on the second floor so I sometimes do this inside, it's just as powerful)
2- Close your eyes and take four deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. With each breath, focus on the sensations moving throughout your body. Focus on your chest moving up and down and the breath moving to and through you.
3- Visualize yourself like a tree, your branches reaching up above your head and out into your energy body and your roots in the earth. These branches and roots glow a bright blue, they move and sway along with the energy that moves around them.
4- Take a deep breath and on the exhale visualize all the branches extended above your head moving down into and through your body causing the roots under you to move deeper into the earth. Keep going until all the branches have made it all the way back into your body.
5- Notice the roots of your energy body and how deep they are in the earth, back where they belong.
6- Feel yourself being held by mother earth, feel the heaviness of your body.
7- You are grounded.
To keep proper spiritual hygiene grounding is something that must be practiced consistently. Much like bathing or eating, it's something that must be done on a day to day basis to maintain a healthy and balanced way of living.
With all my love and best wishes,
Navee
Grounding has proven to be one of the most beneficial practices I've learned on my healing journey. The presence I experience now as opposed to before my grounding practice is somewhat hard to believe. In a world where we are constantly asked to remember and plan, allowing myself the liberation of just BEing was a concept that was challenging to learn but brought with it a peace I had never experienced before.
Being in the present moment is a beautiful gift to your self, it allows you to experience life as it should be, moment to moment and fully immerse yourself in the happenings within and around you.
I want you to know that you have the power to ground yourself whenever you need it. To bring your self back to the present moment. We live in a world that isn't set up to allow time for this, so we must learn to make time. We can teach ourselves to prioritize peace within in a world where chaos is the norm and burn out is celebrated. There is a better way to live. We may not always have hours to dedicate to this practice but luckily for us we don't need hours, a few minutes is more than enough and sometimes something as simple as an intentional breath can be all that we need to make a world of a difference.
Here are a few simple, yet powerful practices you can do sitting at your desk or in your car:
1- Breath. The life force that connects us all is one of the most readily available modalities to help ground you.
This process I'm about to explain is called box breathing, it's one of my absolute favorites to use and has worked every time. While you are in this practice, focus on your heart center and repeat the mantra "the power is in me".
- Sit still, close your eyes.
- Breathe in for four seconds, hold for four seconds, breathe out for four seconds.
(Repeat the process 4 times or as needed)
2- Focus. Your focus has a lot of power, when you focus it on your well being, you can move mountains. During this practice, the idea is to bring your focus to your body, to notice what it looks like and feels like. To bring your entire attention to your self. To bring you back to the present moment.
- Sit or stand still.
- Look at your hands, notice the details. Notice the pigmentation, the shape. Think of the power you have in your hands. To create, to change. Think of the power that is tied to those hands, that lives in you. It is always there. Waiting for you to remember your power. Breathe.
3- Visualize. Imagination is one of the most powerful tools we have been gifted in this life. Use it.
- Sit still.
- Close your eyes.
- Visualize a white light at your crown chakra and slowly bring it down through your body, do this with awareness and intention as it slowly passes each body part during the process.
- See the light reach deep into the earth until it reaches earth's core.
- Breathe.
These are just a few of my preferred grounding techniques. They are simple, but when carried out with intention and focus, very powerful. I hope they help (:
